The Economic Calendar This Week

Although people are preparing for the winter holidays the market never sleeps and this week is no exception. In the next five days there will be several important events that will affect market movement that traders should look out for, be it to trade them or avoid trading during that period.

Today we can expect a speech from FED Chair Janet Yellen, who will talk about the state of the job market at the University of Baltimore's Midyear Commencement, as well as the Bank of Japan policy rate and Monetary Policy Statement.

On Tuesday the BOJ governor Haruhiko Kuroda will hold a press-conference.

On Wednesday the US Crude Oil Inventories will be announced.

On Thursday the US Bureau of Economic Analysis will announce the final Final GDP q/q and the US Department of Labour will announce the latest unemployment claims.

And last but not least on Friday Canada will announce its monthly GDP.
